Nature
— above and under water — is our passion
Aquatrack is a legally registered company in the Dominican
Republic, authorized to offer excursions throughout the country,
within its marine borders and the waters of United States
territory in the Mona Passage. We work closely with the Dominican
Departments of Tourism and Environmental Affairs and the
United States Coast Guard to guarantee that we protect the
visitors as well as the environment.
Your safety and pleasurable excursions are our first concerns.
Unlike many dive centers in the country which deal in volume
of participants, our specialty is personalized excursions.
You may bring your own equipment or rent any part or all
from us. All of our equipment is in excellent condition and
rigorously inspected before each trip.
Aquatrack is composed of a team of highly qualified, multilingual
(English, German, Spanish, French and Dutch) Dive Instructors
and Tour Guides, based in Punta Cana / Bavaro, Dominican
Republic. We travel to all parts of the island and its waters.
After thousands of dives and adventure trips, we still love
it, and continue to share our appreciation for the beauty
of the Dominican Republic and its waters with visitors from
around the world.
By founding Aquatrack Herbert Mohr created a base to share
his vast experience and desire to explore unique locales
with others. His resume includes more than 5,000 dives around
the world and under various conditions, and he is a certified
instructor for CMAS, IANTD, PADI. These qualifications, plus
his technical knowledge, make Aquatrack one of the leading
operators for diving trips and expeditions in the Dominican
Republic.
Herbert started diving in 1977, and continued first during
his vacation trips around the world. More and more he became
interested in technical diving. By working as a fire brigade
rescue diver, instructor to the border police in diving,
and as an actor for television documentaries and action films
he found the perfect way to keep life interesting.
During his stay on the Islands of Cape Verde and Tonga,
Herbert explored a number of spectacular caves and unique
dive sides. On Tonga in the South Pacific he was able to
specialize as well in whale watching, sea kayaking and hiking.
The Dominican Republic with its mostly unexplored cave systems
and wrecks, various national parks and the spectacular islands
of the Mona Passage are the new playgrounds for the person
who wishes to explore the new and different. |
